Texas Fracking Fire Engulfs Halliburton Equipment

According to Facebook posts this fire on a rig site southeast of Pecos,Texas engulfed Halliburton's fracking equipment in flames on the afternoon of August 8th.

A fire on a rig site southeast of Pecos,Texas engulfed Halliburton's frackling equipment in flames on the afternoon of August 8th.The fire required units from Pecos, Barstow and Winkler County to put out , the sheriffs office said.   

The fracking well was not the source of the fire, officials confirmed.

Facebook reports from individuals close to the incident claim a hydraulic leak was responsible for the blaze.

The fire engulfed other equipment, including tractor trailers and trucks.

The official cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
